The Bespoke Havana Ring
In 2016 a client commissioned a ring for his wife, to celebrate a special occasion. His rather short brief was that he liked my 'structural rings', so I asked if there were any particular landmarks which held special meaning to him and his wife. He suggested the Cathedral of the Virgin Mary of the Immaculate Conception, in Havana.
Although I replicated the outline of the front of the Cathedral, this easy to wear ring doesn't have an immediate visual link to it’s inspiration, keeping the origins of the design as a special secret between the client and his wife.
