These deceptively comfortable to wear structural rings were created by manipulating flat sheets of metal to form rings which have a sculptural quality. The silver versions have been created using an engraved silver salver which was presented to an architect for 25 years of service, back in 1984. You can see small elements of the engraved message on the underneath of the ring, a hint to its previous life and the ultimate in recycling/re-purposing.
Modernist and Brutalist architecture strongly influence my design aesthetic.
