Particularly suitable for those wishing to delve into this at home, we will cover the processes, the health and safety, and the equipment you will need. I can advise where to buy the value for money tools and which ones are necessary so you don’t end up with ones you’ll never use.
We will cover sand casting including which waxes to use and how to carve them, and how to use silver and a charcoal block to create a lovely organic ring. Both of these processes will become your best friend in reusing all this little bits of silver you acquire during the making process. You will bring your own silver scrap to use for this session.
The pace will be relaxed and there will be plenty of time for as many questions as you would like to ask. This course is your chance to have access to a professional and ask anything and everything, while learning the skills.
