Similar but not the same

from £1,100.00

This pair of boxes are similar but not the same. Their clean geometric forms were influenced by the brutalist architecture around the campus of the University of East Anglia, near where I grew up and where I completed my MA.

The lids lift off vertically and fit snug thanks to an internal rim, keeping the lines of the form uninterrupted. They forms are raised off the surface by a small continuous foot to give the impression they are hovering.

Standing approximately 9cm tall these playful forms are functional and can hold any of your small treasures, or be left empty and admired as small sculptures. They interact with each other and can be re-positioned often depending on their setting, and what mood you are in. Finished to a satin sheen they are inviting to touch and a pleasure to engage with.

Exhibited in London and the Netherlands.
