The Triplets
The Triplets are a playful development from a past design of a single jug. I wanted to explore the form further and this little set were created. They have the same main form but each has their own individual character, dictated by their spouts. They have form and fuction, the quality of the pour was very important to me so each spout underwent thorough testing and tweaking to ensure it was just right.
From cream, to water for your favourite whiskey, to oils for your salads, these little pouring vessels are endlessly useful and here to be enjoyed. Can be gold plated inside; if this is something you would like, please get in touch.
I am interested in the relationship my pieces have with each other, how they are rigid yet have a sense of association when placed in their groupings, connecting with their counterparts. The pieces have a matt finish to the exterior which looks warm and inviting to handle, allowing the viewer to physically interact with each piece as it is important to me that my pieces are as good to use as they are to hold, and to look at. A contrasting polished rim gives the form a confident line.
Made from a good thickness of silver they are a satisfying weight. These can be gold plated to give the interior a warm golden glow.
