94 people have made all kinds of creations in silver and gold in my studio this year, via experience sessions where they came to make one thing at a relaxed pace, and skills development sessions such as my five week jewellery course, soldering, recycle and reuse, and texturing workshops, and items such as brooches, boxes and spoons. Thank you to each and everyone one of you, I thoroughly enjoyed sharing my studio with you. It truly is an honour.

I adore sharing my passion with others and watching someone go from being doubtful they will make anything they genuinely like, to seeing how proud and impressed they are of what they have created when they see their item all finished and polished. The weird and wonderful conversations are an added bonus!

I have over 20 years experience in silversmithing and jewellery making, with qualifications from NCFE, BA in Silversmithing, Goldsmithing and Jewellery, and a related Masters.

I also have a teaching qualification and I’m proud to be qualified in both the making and the teaching as I want to offer people the best experience possible.

I began teaching a decade ago. I started teaching silversmithing and jewellery to adult education classes and saw there was nowhere in Norfolk at that time where you could go and have a dabble to see if you liked it. So I decided to offer just that. A lot has changed since then with many others hosting jewellery making workshops in Norfolk which shows how popular it is.

It is important to me that participants create something they are proud of and feel comfortable and relaxed, enjoying the experience from start to finish. The benefit of coming to my studio for a workshop is that there is not a fixed duration - you can take as long as you need. You won’t be rushed. You can take your time, relax, and enjoy a bit of you time away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. And you can have a good look around all of my other tools and equipment and ask as many questions about it all as you like. I never tire of talking about all things gold and silver.
