The Moore Collection Bangles - recycled silver jewellery
This collection consists of recycled silver bangles, earrings, necklace and rings. The shapes are unique, no two identical, and based on the forms seen in Henry's work. Each item has some texture added in an area or two. This texture is created by hand with a hammer, with an essence of the marks made by Henry with his chisel.
I love how the bangles sit together in a stack; their irregular forms mean they do not sit flush against each other but instead curve, winding in and out in different areas. As with all my items, these can be made in gold if silver isn't your thing. Discount if you are buying more than one bangle, or a set of earrings and a bangle.

Inspired by the forms and textured seen in the works of Henry Moore, sculptor during the 20thC. Known for creating semi-abstract bronze sculptures, he utilised a wide range of techniques and media, such as line drawing and cross-hatching, gouache, chalk and crayon.
My work if very rigid and structured, with bold lines. And I have been trying to push myself out of my comfort zone and creating irregular fluid natural shapes is a very uncomfortable thing for me to do. So that is what I have been doing.
